How to create an ad
This site offers free advertisements for anyone wanting to sell -- or find -- wool-related items from spinning wheels to fibers, from carders to books, from looms to animals.

FAILURE TO INCLUDE CONTACT INFORMATION IN YOUR AD WILL BE CAUSE FOR IT TO BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY

Please see our Ad Guidelines, but keep in mind that in ALL transactions use common sense: Not all people are nice. So if you are selling an item, make sure you do not divulge personal credit card information nor get into complicated arrangements with people in a foreign country who seem to have limited understanding of English. If you state in your ad, PICK UP ONLY, PLEASE tell the people WHERE you are located.

Post your advertisements -- with photos of the goods being sold -- by creating an account on this site. If you haven't created an account, you can do so by clicking the "Create a new account" link in the upper left of the sidebar on your left. Please understand we are moderating the accounts for the well-being of everyone who participates here, so there will be a delay of a day or so before your account is activated.

If you have an account and have logged in, to post an ad click here or click "Create content" on left and click on "advertisement."

Once you've clicked on one of those links, a form will appear.
Give your ad a title and <./strong>choose a category (Spinning wheels, Fibers, etc.) (You may choose multiple categories by pressing CTRL key (or Apple key) and clicking on the additional category(ies).)

In "body," type or paste in your ad.

To insert a photo, click on the green box with plus sign just below the "body" box. Here are the next steps:

• In pop-up window, click UPLOAD FILE. A new box will appear; give photo a title; fill in exact location of the picture (click browse if you want to search your computer for the photo), include some info for caption in "body" if you want.

• Click PREVIEW button on bottom; wait for the picture to upload; box will refresh itself and show your photo; if it looks OK, click SUBMIT at bottom.
• At your next box, click INSERT.
• Return to your advertisement. Finish your ad, click PREVIEW, if it looks OK, click SUBMIT. Voila! Your ad is posted.

IMPORTANT HOUSECLEANING (sorry.) When you have sold your item, return to your advertisement, click headline, click edit and click DELETE at bottom. Click Delete again. THANKS!
