Hi Friends. There is a really cool website called Free Rice. Some of you may have seen this already...but it is a word game that you play, and as you go along, and win, using vocabulary words, you early REAL FREE RICE for those in need around the world.
http://www.freerice.com/ is the url. Tell your friends, and your children. It's a wonderful thing.... Sally and I were doing it together today and we got up to 45 or so, level wise...and we donated thousands of grains of rice. The rice is paid for by ads tha are gently placed at the bottom of the pages, and all in all, it's very tastefully done, and not overpowering, in the ad department.

This is part of we've been doing this past weekend as the ice storms have hit our house, our cars, and our spirits. Only a few more weeks till Spring...that's why I say. My neck is stiff from sleeping oddly while jamie was away visiting his folks. I sit up , watching things, and then get a crick of major proportions...so I sit here now with ice and Ben Gay on it..and Advil, and hope it goes away. Going to bed, as I'm working on the floor at the hospital tomorrow, and that will be coming early...
