Good morning from wonderful and springy Cambridge England. Jamie, Sally, and I are visiting our daughter Emily, who is studying on a fellowship here at Cambridge. She will finish her masters' degree in June, and will then return to New York to begin MD Grad school at the Albert Einstein Medical School in the Bronx, where she also has a full scholarship, thankfully. Life is blessed.

How are you all doing? I have noticed that sometimes, you are forgetting to post your email addresses as you post ads. Remember to ad those in, ok? : ) I am knitting socks, as per the Yarn Harlot's suggestions for travel knitting. I am trying a new yarn ...mostly all merino with a little bit of elastic...in a lovely color, cream/lilac/taupe mixture, and I have some Koigu in brown and violet to do heal and toe work for interest. My daughter is working on a pair of socks made from a yarn that is merino/cashmere and is called Peony, as a color. It's a beautiful new yarn.... called Milan, by Tilli Thomas. We bought it from our local shop, http://www.kyarns.com/yarn shop, Kaleidoscope. Jill has just revamped her website, and it's quite lovely...and there is a sale now where you can order and get free shipping, at least for a few days. I saw that when I was on the site last, though it's not there now.... you can always ask them though.

Take good care, and we will be drinking tea and eating shortbread and scones/clottedcream. I am really looking forward to the overnight train to Inverness next weekend. Jamie is a big train guy, and so he will love that.
Love to all...and blessings on you all and your families too. Kathleen
