Sat July 25. Corgi puppies.... knitting gone wrong..... etc

July 26. well, I've just frogged a lace weight merino scarf where the pattern was messed up...way messed up. I am not able to count it when I can't see the pattern developing. It was like knitting with thread, and somehow, I could not keep track of the pattern, and it was messed-up without a definite viewable pattern..it needed blocking to see that, and so I frogged half of it, and kept the wool in a ball ...in case some day I want to continue.

Maybe I am not a lace knitter.??? ARGH.

Maybe I need to knit with something other than thread.? I have been amusing myself looking at corgi puppies on the internet. Since we got Ollie, things have changed. My girls have grown up and all but one are gone. I have gotten rheumatoid arthritis...(anyone else on injectible Enbrel?) If you are on it, how long did it take to work for you? I've had three shots so far and nothing amazing has happened, painwise, ie it has not decreased dramatically. : (

Thank you all for donating as you continue to do, to support our pages and the Young Writer's Project. I do appreciate it.

Kindly, and with some frustration at the scarf with lace weight Merino, and same pattern, different yarn (lace weight Malabrigo, it's FINE, and I can see the pattern and it's nice looking and DOable for me)...and who is really wondering if a new dog is in the cards for our family. Dogs are a lot of work. You can't go away as easily. I know all these things. But I miss the dogginess..... of having a dog. and especially the CORGINESS of having a Corgi.

Love and blessings. Kathleen, missing Ollie...who would have been 14 on Aug 14.
