Washed wool: Border Leister, Shetland, and Border Leister/Shetland cross wool for sale $10.00 per pound. Border Leister is very soft with long staples. Shetland and Shetland/Leister cross is denser and also quite soft. This wool is VERY EASY TO SPIN once carded because of long staples. We have our wool roving back from the mill and have the following rovings available. Zeilinger Wool Co in Frankenmuth, MI is our processor and, as usual, they have done a great job. The price is $20.00/lb. or $1.50/oz. plus shipping. I have noted the rovings that are especially soft and also the ones that are the sheep’s first shearing as they are usually quite soft.
